If you're feeling a bit anxious about being photographed on your wedding day, don't worry—an engagement shoot can be a great way to calm those nerves! It’s a fun opportunity to get some beautiful photos of the two of you in a relaxed setting, capturing the joy and love in your relationship. By the time I arrive to photograph your wedding, we’ll already feel like friends, making the whole experience so much more comfortable!
Plus, the engagement session helps me see how you both interact, ensuring that your wedding photos truly reflect your personalities and the special bond you share. If an engagement shoot sounds good to you, I offer it as part of some wedding packages. Just reach out, and we can chat about the options that work best for you!

do you travel for weddings ?
At Hermoso Photography, we're based in Palmerston North, right in the heart of the Manawatu region. We’re passionate about capturing beautiful moments all over New Zealand, and we would love to work with you wherever you are!
For the Manawatu area, we’re happy to say there’s no travel fee! For locations outside this area, we do have a small travel fee to help cover things like mileage, flights, rental cars, and accommodation.
To keep things transparent and help you plan, here are our travel fees:
- Manawatu Region: Free!
- Wellington Region:$100
- Hawkes Bay Region:$300
- Taranaki Region: $300
- Auckland Region: $500
- The Rest of the South Island:$700

Of course, All packages are a guide & we can add or take off away items as required and I can provide you a tailor made quotes, Just let me know what you might be looking for.
do you require a booking fee?
To secure your date, a non-refundable fee of $500 is required. This fee guarantees that your chosen date is reserved exclusively for you and covers administrative costs, contract creation, and any related phone calls prior to the booking. Unfortunately, I cannot hold dates without receiving both the booking fee and the necessary paperwork. If you are interested in proceeding, please let me know, as there may be other couples looking to book on the same day. I want to ensure that I don’t disappoint anyone, including you.
do we get raw images?
I do not provide any unedited images, Like most photographers, we do not send out any work that is un-finished , As you are hiring me for my style, This is half how I Photograph and half how I edit.
